This installation turned a tired family bathroom into a bright, characterful space that works hard every day. The family led the design themselves, drawing inspiration from Instagram and current trends, and chose a yellow vanity, brushed brass fittings, patterned floor tiles, and metro-style wall tiles laid in a vertical stack for a fresh, modern look.
They were unsure about underfloor heating at first, so we talked them through the options and then installed it with Wedi boards underneath to keep it efficient and responsive. All wiring was chased neatly into the walls so there are no visible cables, just a clean, finished feel.
We fitted a combined bath and shower with a coordinating brass shower set and screen, plus a backlit brass-edged mirror above the vanity. The basin tap, shower fittings, and accessories were carefully matched so everything feels calm and cohesive rather than pieced together.
Along the way we advised on details that would lift the overall finish, such as the choice of lighting, trim and fittings, helping their ideas look as good in real life as they did in their inspiration images. The result is a joyful family bathroom that feels warm, welcoming, and easy to live with every day.
